Checking the Bluetooth speaker connection on Touch Pad

If your Touch Pad Bluetooth speaker is not working, the speaker lags behind, or if the sound quality is poor, you may be able to resolve this by:

  1. Check the Bluetooth Speaker is connected by opening the Windows Bluetooth Settings and ensuring it appears below the Audio section.
  2. You can find the Windows Bluetooth Settings by clicking the Windows Start menu button, going into Settings, and then into the Device section.
  3. If the speaker does not show as connected, check the speaker is powered on and hit the Connect button.
  4. If the speaker lags behind or has poor quality, open the Windows Settings > System > Sound.
  5. In the drop down menus under Output and Input, ensure the Output is set to Headphones (Lenovo 700 BT Speaker Stereo) and Input is set to Microphone (Realtek High Definition Audio(SST)).
  6. Open the Sound Control Panel, disable the Lenovo 700 BT Speaker Hands-free AG Audio speaker under the Playback and Recording tabs.
  7. Open Grid 3, ensure the Headphones ( Lenovo 700) speaker is set inside the Grid 3 Speech Settings by going into Grid 3 Settings > Speech > Configure and selecting the Speakers from the drop down at the bottom of the screen and then test the speaker works as intended.
