How to backup a User in Grid for iPad

To back up a user in Grid for iPad go to:

Settings > Name of User > Backup, Restore & Delete > Back up

When you Backup a user there are different options regarding where you want to save the user as shown in the image.

These options depend on what storage apps you have installed and enabled in Settings. See how to use the Files app here.

There are different storage options available for use with iPads. We have tried and tested the WitStick memory stick which is available here, which allows you to move users between an iPad and Windows device.

When you first plug in the WitStick, follow the instructions to install the app so you can access files on the memory stick.

Once you have done this, when you back up a user you will then have the option copy to the WitStick app as shown in the image above. Please note, to make sure you are able to access the user from the WitStick, you will need to change its save location in the WitStick app. To do this open the WitStick app and go to Local >  Inbox > Select and tick the box next to the name of the user then Move > WitStick > Paste.
