Issues use the touch keyboard to sign in to Dropbox

If the touch keyboard is not working when typing in your sign in details for Dropbox, the following steps will resolve the issue.

Our development team is investigating the issue and we hope to have a solution included as part of a Grid 3 update in the near future.

Go to Grid 3’s Menu – Settings – Accounts – Dropbox – Connect

Tap in the text boxes to bring up the on-screen keyboard. If this doesn’t appear automatically, you can tap the keyboard icon in the lower-left corner of the settings window.

Tap the touch keyboard settings icon, shown in the upper-left corner, then tap the icon to show the expanded touch keyboard.

Press Shift, and then Tab, both found on the left-hand side of the keyboard. Do this twice, or until you see the cursor in the text entry box.

You should now be able to continue using the touch keyboard to enter your Dropbox account details.
