Locking grids to prevent changes in The Grid 2

The Grid 2 has been designed to allow easy editing: we wanted it to be as fast as possible for you to create new cells or editing existing grids.

However, there are some cases when you might want to lock down your grids so that they can’t be changed.

Select User Settings > General Settings > About Me and tick the option “Editing lock”. This prevents access to edit mode. Note that it is still possible to make changes to word lists when the editing lock is on, allowing people to make limited changes to the grid content in a controlled way.

You could also consider hiding the toolbar to prevent changes.
