Reducing the size of photo files for use in Grid 3

Large photos can make your grid sets too big causing problems with remote editing, or being slow to load. Where possible, limit the size of your images.

If you do need to resize your image, you can do this in Windows Paint 3D:

• Click Open in the Welcome screen
• Locate the image you need to resize
• Click on the Canvas icon
  
• Under Resize canvas, click on the Padlock icon to lock the dimensions
• Turn on the  ‘When resizing the canvas, adjust my image as well’ button
• You can now adjust the Width % to make a smaller image, Height will adjust automatically

  

• Once you are happy with your image, select Menu > Save as file > 2D – JPEG
