Unable to access a free trial of a licensed grid set

Some grid sets are licensed (e.g. PODD) and are available as a 60 day free trials.

You can access them by following these steps:

  • Go to the Add grid set menu in Grid Explorer
  • Find the grid set under the relevant folder
  • Download the grid set/s

If you receive an error message stating a licence is required, please follow these steps:

  • Close Grid 3
  • Open Licence Manager and check it says ’Demonstration with 60 days remaining’ next to the grid set

  • Open Task Manager and close any Apps or Processes relating to Smartbox or Sensory Software
  • Open Licence Manager again and check the 60 day trial is still remaining
  • Open Grid 3

You should now be able to add the grids set.
