Windows Media Player no longer available after the Windows 10 Creators Update

Grid 3 requires Windows Media Player to play music in Grid 3.

You may find that after installing the Windows 10 Creators Update, Windows Media Player is no longer available.

Follow these steps to re-install Windows Media Player on your device:

  • Open the Settings app
  • Go to Apps > Apps and features
  • Click on Manage optional features
  • Select Add a feature
  • Scroll down to Windows Media Player
  • Click Install (the process might take several minutes to complete)
  • Once complete, launch Windows Media Player from the Start Menu

Once the app has been launched it will link with the Grid 3 Media Player so the music library can be played through the accessible Grid 3 app.
