Head of UK Sales

Smartbox is the UK’s leading supplier of AAC technology with the customer at the heart of everything we do. We are well aware that there are many more people that need alternative communication than currently have access to it and we’d like your help to reach these people.

We are looking for someone that can help Smartbox deliver our market-leading technology to as many people as possible in the UK.

The successful candidate will lead our team of Assistive Technology Specialists in the UK. You will be responsible for delivering sales to meet the targets set annually by the Board of Directors.

You will line manage a team of seven assistive technology advisors that are located around the UK. This is a hands-on role, where you will need to reach these targets by both leading your team and generating sales yourself.

Smartbox is looking to further develop sales in the UK through improving the number of people we reach, whilst maintaining our high levels of customer experience and support. The role will include developing new processes and adopting technology that will enable Smartbox to do this successfully.

We are looking for someone with clear leadership credentials and a track record of running a successful sales team. Part of this role will be to work with the Business Development Director to form a sales strategy.

The ideal candidate will promote the mission, vision and values of Smartbox, being a charismatic champion of the needs of AAC users and the technology that can give them a voice.

Software Developer

The software development team is responsible for the delivery of our world class Grid software. This software is used by people with disabilities all over the world to enable them to communicate and live more independent lives.

We are looking for a talented developer who has an in-depth understanding of Xamarin and Apple iOS development to develop and maintain our cross platform AAC communication software.

The right candidate will have an up to date understanding and awareness of the latest technology and innovation within the iOS/Xamarin platforms, a strong desire to improve and develop out offerings and an ability to manage multiple projects.
