Cake and communication aids at No Speech for Smartbox day

October is the International Society for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (ISAAC) AAC awareness month. Here at Smartbox we chose to get on board and celebrate with our first No Speech for Smartbox day. Staff got in the bake off mood with a selection of homemade treats, and communication aids were passed around to discuss everyone’s favourite cake. All of the donations made during the day are going to Communication Matters, the UK arm of ISAAC and we raised just over £170!

We held the event at our new building, Smart Works in Malvern, which we will be introducing very soon!
