Introducing Symoji!

Symoji is a fun new animated feature available now in Grid.

Use Symoji to add meaning or emotion to something you’ve said, or communicate a whole idea or feeling with just one click.

There are lots of Symojis to choose from, organised into three categories to make it easy to find the one that you want.

To get Symoji in Grid make sure you update your software. You can use the standalone grid set from Menu – Add grid set – Symbol communication – Symoji or add the latest version of Super Core, Text Talker or Fast Talker which Symoji is built in to.

Get Symoji in Grid

Developed in collaboration with AAC users

We created Symoji in collaboration with a group of AAC users, who tested the grid set and gave us feedback along the way.

As part of the testing process we also asked for Symoji design suggestions. Thanks to our testers we have an eye gaze, hand switch, head switch, coffee, birthday and cheers Symoji.

We also involved a team of students from the EY Foundation. They came up with the handshake Symoji!

Symoji on your second screen
