New eye gaze art from Sarah Ezekiel

Sarah Ezekiel is an artist with difference. Unlike many, who use their hands (or even feet) to create works of art, Sarah uses her eyes.

Following a diagnosis of motor neurone disease, Sarah began using eye gaze technology to help her keep doing all of the things she has always enjoyed. What she didn’t expect was to find a completely new talent!

In 2012 Sarah began using her Tobii Dynavox communication aid with Revelation Natural Art software to create art. She has now exhibited everywhere from Royal Art Schools in the UK to the Katara Art Centre in Qatar.

Earlier this year we commissioned Sarah to create a new piece for our HQ in Malvern. It was to hang in a particular spot, by the person who books in almost every single assistive technology visit request in the UK – Bev. The office is the home of where many of our team are based and we were thrilled when Sarah accepted our request.
