PCS and touch versions of Symbol Talker out now

How to get started

You can now use PCS symbols with Symbol Talker A-D. Follow the instructions below to get started (this does require a PCS licence).

Under Menu in Grid Explorer, select Add. Then choose Symbol communication, click next, then choose Symbol Talker grid sets.

Choose A, B, C or D and then press next, under Alternative Version at the bottom double click on the PCS version or PCS Touch version. Click Add to finish the process, and Open to get started with your new library!

What are Symbol Talkers?

Our Symbol Talker grid sets are included with Grid 3 and provide a four step journey that takes you from simple sentence building to more advanced message generation with symbols. The resources use a topic based vocabulary, where words are categorised according to the topic they are related to.
