If you regularly use Beeline or Symbol Talker D, you will notice that the verb suggestions in your grid set are looking a little different since the latest Grid 3 update.
We have improved the way verbs are suggested in Grid 3, to give you a different symbol so you can identify each form of the verb.
Whichever verb you are using, whether it is ‘to drink’ or ‘to go’, Grid 3 will consistently use the same symbols to represent the different forms of each verb.
For example, the past tense of drink (drank) will use the same symbol as the past tense of go (went). Both cells now display the backward arrow symbol.
Previously in Grid 3, the same symbol was used across all versions of the same verb.
By varying the symbol by tense, it becomes much easier to distinguish meaning between the different words, and to select the correct one. This is handy for anyone who cannot read the words, is unfamiliar with the different forms of a verb, or is still learning literacy.
The original symbol for the verb will still appear in the chat writing area, once you have selected the form you would like to use.
