Your Paralympics grid set is here!

With only 7 days until the Paralympics commence, we thought we’d better start getting ready for the big day. (Wonderful news if like us you’re already missing the Olympic games!)

If you’re heading back to school next week, the Paralympic games are bound to be a talking point so make sure you’ve downloaded our grid set and are ready to join in with all the fun!

Get the conversation going

We’ve created this new grid set to enable you to carry on the conversation – this time surrounding the Paralympic events. Use it to:

• Initiate or join in a conversation
• Talk about your favourite events
• Ask to watch specific things
• Cheer on your favourite country or
• Express your feelings on the performance of the athletes

You can applaud, boo or cheer the athletes on whilst you watch too, using the same 6 cell sound grid we used for the Olympic grid set.

Making changes to your Paralympic grid set

We’ve loaded the different events in alphabetical order – but if you want to rearrange the content according to your favourites, or simplify your grid set into a smaller list, it’s very easy to do:

Select the Word list icon from the Menu ribbon.
Once the word list tool is open you can manually change the order that your events appear in, by selecting No sort order from the drop down box in the bottom left corner of your screen.
You can now drag words in your list up or down to change where they appear.

If you want to delete a word, first select it from the list on the left hand side and then click the Remove button at the bottom of your screen.

You can also use the Add button at the bottom to add any events that we may have missed!

This process can also be applied to your list of countries – useful if you are using these grid sets outside of the UK and want to amend the running order of the countries.
