Our Simple AAC workshops are available to all schools in the UK
These workshops are designed for anyone who works with young people with complex communication needs.
Whether your school has an experienced AAC team or is getting started with AAC across the school for the first time, this training session will give families and staff the tools to help learners reach their potential.
Using the Smartbox Simple AAC framework, we will take you through what symbol AAC is and get started with it right away. We’ll spend the day learning strategies and practising different techniques in small groups.
Our Simple AAC workshops are delivered by Speech and Language Therapist Danielle Foakes and Assistive Technology Specialist Keira Fewtrell.
With over 20 years experience within the team, Keira and Danielle bring a rich knowledge of working with children with complex needs and are passionate about supporting young people to have success with AAC.
