Keeping up to speed with the latest in assistive technology

A small team of us recently attended the Assistive Technology Industry Association (ATIA) conference in Orlando earlier this month. The event is one of the largest assistive tech events in the world and is always packed full of fascinating talks from leaders in the field and new products!

We were there showcasing our latest products and meeting others from across the world of assistive technology. The conference covered a range of topics from how big data can improve the effectiveness of AAC to how communication circles can promote follow-through in assistive technology. Our very own Adam Waits and Chris Gibbons both gave talks at the conference, focussing on how to make the introduction of AAC more interactive and engaging for the digital generation and Accessible apps in Grid 3.
