A new firmware update is available now for Talk Pad 2nd gen via the Smartbox Link app.

Improvements

The speaker now allows connections from any iPad. This is useful in classroom settings for example, allowing you to update multiple devices from one iPad. Please find guidance on pairing your speaker on the Smartbox Hub.

Resolved issues

Some users encountered an issue where the speaker would disconnect when the original connection was initiated by the speaker itself, for example, when turning the speaker on or pressing the Connect button.
When the speaker is in pairing mode, it now disconnects the Smartbox Link app. This stops multiple iPads connecting to a single speaker.
