Celebrating Purple Tuesday

On Tuesday 7 November we joined join leading organisations in a global social movement to improve the customer experience for disabled people 365 days a year, making it as accessible and inclusive as possible.

Purple Tuesday is a change programme for organisations of all sizes and sectors to get involved in, with the common goal of raising awareness of the value and needs of disabled customers.

Our 2024 Purple Tuesday commitments

We are committed to bringing disabled people into the design process of our products and services to embrace the creation of technology for AAC users, by AAC users. We are also looking to collaborate with more charities and organisations to improve awareness of how AAC can support disabled people, and better understand the different needs of the people they work with.

Smartbox is a founding partner of Purple Tuesday and has been supporting the campaign for four years now. This year our sister companies Talk To Me Technologies in the US and REHAVISTA in Germany are also participating in Purple Tuesday and will be supporting the campaign with their own pledges and celebrations.
