Keyboards in Super Core

Discover a selection of keyboards to help users with literacy skills

Choose between an ABC or QWERTY layout, and whether or not you want prediction cells. You can also choose to hear letter names or letter sounds spoken as you select each letter. Super Core 50 also features a frequency keyboard layout for switch users.

Only available in English language versions of Super Core.

Your default keyboard

The default keyboard for children getting started with Super Core is an ABC keyboard with letter sounds – ideal for encouraging their early exploration of phonics. In the Teen and Adult version of Super Core, the default is an ABC keyboard with letter names and prediction cells.

You can change your default keyboard easily, by editing the spelling jump cell from the home grid of Super Core.

Discover Super Core

Super Core is a core vocabulary intended for people of any age, who use AAC to communicate. It is suitable for a range of users, including those who are:

• Just starting to explore symbol communication
• Wanting a more comprehensive range of vocabulary with powerful grammar tools
• Using any access method

You’ll find lots of vocabulary relating to daily, play and leisure activities, making it easier to learn and explore language with activities that are fun and familiar – and encourage AAC to be used all day, every day!
