All about Tolu and his experience with Look Lab

Tolu is a 16-year old Grid Pad user from Plymouth, UK. Tolu and his fellow students at Woodlands School, have been testing Look Lab, a new eye gaze software title from Smartbox.

Tell us about yourself?

My name is Tolu and I am 16 years old; I really enjoy school, I have lots of friends, I have a great sense of humour, I go to church every Sunday and I live with my Mum and Dad.

How do you communicate?

I have a Grid Pad 12 that I use with Voco Chat; eye gaze is my access method. I have been using it for about 7 years.

I like using eye gaze to talk, it helps me build relationships.

What do you think about Look Lab?

I really like the Hoops game and Tunnel Dash. The Hoops game is relaxing. Tunnel Dash helps me to be accurate, eye gaze is easier now.

I’ve enjoyed testing Look Lab. One change I asked for in Hoops, was to make the ball bounce off the sides.
