How do I help him to use AAC? What should I do with her AAC? Where do I start?
It can be hard to know where to start with someone who is learning to use AAC. The internet is full of wonderful tips and ideas, but it can still feel overwhelming.
SIMPLE AAC brings together all of the big ideas about what we should be doing to support early AAC users to develop their communication, in a way that is easy to follow and understand.
Every letter of SIMPLE AAC represents a strategy – something you can do to help the AAC learner.
You don’t need to try and do everything at once though! Just try one idea at a time, and think about doing a little bit every day for a week or two, or even a month. See what happens!
