Assistive Technology Team
Our UK Assistive Technology Team are out on the road meeting users every day. They not only provide expert consultations to individuals but also contribute to new product development and support our customers throughout their journey with our technology.
Providing useful, high quality information in the right place at the right time is very important to us. This team manage our website, communications and work with every other to team to create everything from product manuals to event stands.
Overseas Sales Team
Our assistive technology solutions are available all over the world through our trusted network of partners. Trained and supported by this team they enable people with disabilities in over 40 countries to use our cutting edge software and hardware.
The Service Team are based in our head quarters in Malvern. Some of our Support Smartboxers have been with us since the very beginning. They have unparalleled knowledge and experience.
The Repairs Team work tirelessly to ensure our customers and users have their devices repaired and back to them as soon as possible.
Software Development Team
This team is where the Smartbox story began and they are still at the very heart of what we do today. From Grid 3 to Look to Learn, talented developers from Bristol to Taiwan are involved in making the software that makes everything our users do with our technology possible.
Hardware Development Team
Product design, modelling and testing all happen in this team – from the latest Smartbox communication aid to a new switch accessory.
Our production team is based in Malvern and the skills included in this team are diverse – from manufacturing of circuit boards to installation of our software – every single device we sell passes through the hands of these people.
Our Content Team are responsible for researching, developing and designing the grid sets that are included with Grid 3.
Developing resources, software and applications for the Special Educational Needs (SEN) classroom.
