Fully enclosed in an aluminium chassis and drop tested to 1 meter, Grid Pad 13 is built to withstand day to day life. The shock-proof and IP54 rated design is splash and dust resistant, ready for communication everywhere you go.

The antiglare screen is steel ball tested and daylight readable, making it super strong and easy to see in bright surroundings.

Making communication easier

A wide-angle and daylight bright second screen is perfect for supporting conversation using text and symbols, and expressing yourself with Symoji!

Custom designed high displacement speakers add richness and clarity to your voice. We’ve also added two mini personal speakers for discrete audio feedback – great for anyone who uses switch scanning in Grid.

Next generation access

Activate user accessible Smart Buttons to do even more with your Grid Pad.

Use them to quickly navigate your device, calibrate your eye gaze camera, activate a rest cell or choose their function by programming a command of your choice. Switch between grid sets, accessible apps, or environment control with one button.

Who is Grid Pad 13 for?
Grid Pad 13 is designed for people with MND / ALS, Cerebral Palsy, brain injury and other conditions that affect speech and mobility. 

Does Grid Pad 13 work with eye gaze?
Yes! Grid Pad 13 is available with Lumin-i and Vida eye tracking technology. Each camera is housed in an impact resistant and IP rated eye gaze module that transforms your Grid Pad into a dedicated eye gaze device. Wireless docking makes getting setup even easier, with no need for any cables – perfect for assessment settings.  

Does Grid Pad 13 have Environment Control?

Yes, Grid Pad 13 has built in GEWA Environment Control. Powerful IR transmitters are located on the back of the device, for reliable control of your home devices.

There is also the option to add EasyWave / Z-Wave radio Environment Control. This is fitted under the decorative panel and needs to be added as an optional extra when you order your device.
